During a live broadcast, Katie Couric queried Nicole Contos, a jilted bride, whether "she had considered castration as an option" for her groom not showing up at their wedding ceremony.
Just imagine the outrage that would have arisen had the interviewee had been a man who was jilted under the same circumstances and the interviewer had suggested female genital mutilation as a recourse.
Unless Katie Couric makes a public apology for her abysmally rude remark, we recommend a nationwide boycott of the Today show and any sponsor who supports the Today show with their advertising dollars.
It's time to replace Ms. Couric with someone who a bit more intelligence that she has shown on numerous occasions.
