Majority Report is up!

The US Commission on Child and Family Welfare Majority Report is finally up on the AFC Homepage! Much thanks to the people who made this possible, especially Richard Bennett for his tireless formatting.

You must check out the graphics in chapter two! Superb job!

Purple Hearts Event

As those of you who turned out at the Purple Hearts Event at the U.S. Supreme Court already may know, David and Ileana Roberts donated some very upscale office space to us at 2000 M St., N.W.

The space is nicer than many of the larger, multi-state law firms and gives us a real presence, greater credibility and a really nice working environment.

The offices are furnished, with a nice reception area, about fifteen private offices (available increasingly to us as the downsizing of the current operation continues) a nice conference room with all the necessities and amenities, copy and computer equipment.

We move in Monday with the initial startup and expand according to availability and need. The lease expires in 3/99... so we have a couple good years to concentrate on expansion and effectiveness instead of constantly having to worry about rent.

This is a great opportunity for us and we look forward to your help and input in this new growth phase.
