In this column I pose questions and raise issues. The purpose is to put a slightly different spin on each item, provoke thinking or give you ideas for how to respond to things. Think of them as "sound bite arguments."

Actually, The Backlash against misandry was started in 1992 by a group of men who were equally comprised of liberals and conservatives and it was anything but "a bit naughty." To the contrary, it cost some their jobs, some their lives, and all were ostracized to some degree for their involvement.
• Thousands of angry users are abandoning the latest version of Chrome; did the NSA dictate the changes to it?
• Feminists have become like 19th century white slave owners who rationalized slavery with racist pamphlets enumerating the imagined inferiority of black slaves. As they were racist, so feminists are sexist.
• The "women are paid only 70 cents on the male dollar" meme epitomizes the saying, "there are lies, damned lies and statistics." When factors such as hours of overtime and length of employment are taken into consideration, the wage gap is only about 2 cents. And in union jobs it vanishes altogether.
• The dictionary definition of feminism is wrong. Feminism used to be the radical notion that women are people and equal to men. But as the feminist focus shifted from women's rights to men's wrongs, it morphed into the radical notion that feminists are superior to non-feminist women and all men.
• Sexism begets sexism: feminist misandrous (anti-male) policies promote misogyny.
• The US military draft was emplaced by husbands and sons of women who expected men to die on their behalf and for their convenience.
• In Japan the risks and rewards of capitalism have been collectivized; in the US, the rewards are private but the risks for the "too big to fail" companies have been collectivized.
• Social Security would be solvent if the Treasury had not spent the money on the operating budget.
• In Indian Country you often see posters, T-shirts and bumperstickers that say, "Our religion is the traditions of our ancestors." This is falsely attributed to Chief Seattle. The real author was Dr. Henry A. Smith.

• It's not that GMO crops are frankenfoods that should be banned but that GMO companies like Monsanto are using government to destroy their competition.
• Between 1997 and 2010 Monsanto filed 144 patent infringement lawsuits against organic farmers whose crops were contaminated by Monsanto's GMOs.
• Our disease maintenance system is broken and more of what broke it will not fix it.
• Few men are rapists, most men aspire to be heroes, and feminists prey on this to turn men against men.
• Never in history have women been more safe or, thanks to feminists, felt more threatened than they do today.

• Racists used to condemn black male slaves who looked at white women, now feminists condemn any man who expresses interest in any woman.
• Reality is a fluid thing. Our perception of it is limited and all that we know could be called only our opinion. Those who would have us do that seek not to lift us up but to shut us down. Facts are what we understand things to be separate from our experiences of them and are subject to error and correction.
• Feminists stopped demanding choices and liberty for all, engaged in a sexist war against a fictional male hegemonny that negatively stereotyped men, and excused evil women as victims, so why does anybody listen to them?
• The day 90% of feminists embrace and practice the dictionary definition of feminism is the day 90% of the men's rights movement will evaporate.
• The modern feminist movement is decidedly Marxist and, therefore, oppressive, violent, destructive and, ultimately, totalitarian.

• The drop in wages following the influx of women into the labor market had nothing to do with sexism: prices in a free market are set by supply and demand, and when the supply of labor increased faster than demand, the price of labor (wages) dropped.
• Disagreement and censure by individuals, groups and organizations do not pose a threat to free speech: only governments can do that.
