In this column I pose questions and raise issues. I don't always agree with the conclusion, implied or stated. The purpose is to put a slightly different spin on each item and to promote discussion.
- One of the primary reasons given for involving NATO in the strikes against Yugoslavia was fear the fighting could spread to the rest of Europe. The last time I heard the "domino theory" argument in support of a controversial military action, we were bombing Vietnam.
- Many women insensitively act on the assumption all men are insensitive.
- "All men are pigs," a truism many women work hard to sustain.
- Men vie for power because most women care about the men who have it, not the men who don't.
- Behind virtually every witch-burning male stands a witch-hating female.
- According to pop feminists, the next wave of feminism will focus not on "women's lib," but on "female lib" - the liberation of the female libido and huntress, the primal babe. As usual, not only are they behind the times by several decades, but they're pretending this is some sort of continuation of their revolution against men. That's funny. As Edgar Rice Burrows (the creator of Tarzan) demonstrated with his numerous stories, such as Cave Girl, Moon Maid, the Barsoomian, Venusian and, of course, Pellucidar series, all featuring huntresses and warrior princesses (decades before Xena sparked male fantasies), men have long desired such women. What the pop feminists inside their little reality distortion fields don't want anybody to know is, it's not men who have most resisted such female ideals, but women.
- Many women are very good at hating men with whom they make little or no effort to know or communicate.
- Be the hawk. With glaring eyes watch from soaring height for lies like rodents in the grass gnawing holes in the foundations of fact. Hurtle down with considered speed and snare them in the talons of truth.
- What is called romance in the movies and books is, in real life, called stalking and sexual harassment.
- A man who tells true things about women is considered misogynistic while a woman who slings sexist slurs at men is considered liberated.
- Many women will show interest in a man until he returns that interest; then they turn cold and aloof and may even level accusations of sexual harassment. Such women are no different from the men who are "only after one thing." It's about power, and they get off on it.
- A shameless man is one who, after a life time of being abused and accused still remains hopeful love will find a way.
- There is a fine line between flirtation and harassment - for the one who has more sexual power, it is to risk taunting, for the one who has less sexual power, it is to risk haunting.
- Most men are not offended by lesbians, or by white women who date, mate and marry black men, but by the bigotry of those women who do it out of spite rather than love.
- "The customer is always right," the cornerstone of the Wal-Mart business empire...and the first step in what is rapidly becoming the age of entitlement, when all but white men think they are entitled to be right at the expense of everyone else, have things at the expense of everyone else, and be irresponsible at the expense of everyone else. To promote a sense of self entitlement is un-American. Wal-Mart is wrong to do that; nobody is always right.
- Has anyone ever considered how difficult it is to stimulate women with small clitorises? Don't get me wrong, I have no need to divert attention from my own anatomy. However, while many focus on the size of men's penises, who pays attention to the many women who have a dinky little clitoris that is virtually impossible to find? Isn't it about time?
