NCFM on the Air

Thanks to Michigan State Representative, Jerry Boggs, columnist Vin Suprynowicz, published part two of his series on men's issues and NCFM. It was prepared at the Los Vegas Review Journal on October 11. The column is syndicated by 20 newspapers throughout the US and is published at will.

On January 11, Attorney Darren Berger represented NCFM on News Talk TV. He spoke on criticisms aimed at lawyers and on discrimination issues such as the glass ceiling.

On January 17, Bruce Judelson went on News Talk TV to talk about whether the Virginia Military Institute should admit women. Transitions covered this topic in depth last September. On February 3rd, it was Charles Fink's turn to represent us on News Talk TV. Charles addressed the issue of a new poster campaign underway in New York City which focuses on the issue of battered wives. The campaign in process batters men. One poster shows a little boy with the caption, "He has his mother's eyes and his father's fists."

Internet News

On February 8, NCFM adopted a black background for its homepage in order to demonstrate unity with thousands of other World Wide Web sites that also went black to protest censorship on the Internet. On February 8, President Clinton signed the new telecommunications bill that provided for government interferance over a broad range of issues many of which are not clear. The blackout lasted 48 hours.

NCFM continued to operate its mass mailing list involving members in conversations about everything from tiolets to welfare reform. Members also exchanged resources and received up-to-the-minute special bulletins. Any paid member who is on-line is eligible to participate (or observe). Just send us your email number. Our mailing list is not open to the general public.
